COSTA MESA, CA-Buyers have purchased buildings here, in Tustin and in Fontana in three separate deals totaling more than $10 million, according to CB Richard Ellis and NAI Capital Commercial. In the largest of the transactions, RDM Properties acquired the old Jewish Federation building, a 39,362-sf property at 250 E. Baker St. in Costa Mesa, for $5 million from the Jewish Federation of Orange County. Phil Cohen and Jon Marchiorlatti of the Newport Beach office of CB Richard Ellis represented the buyer, with Brian Garbutt of Lee & Associates representing the seller.In the Tustin transaction, AG/Touchstone Warner Redhill LLC, sold a 30,426-sf office building at 15901 Redhill Ave. to Warner Redhill Investments LLC for $4.3 million, with Kathleen Howard and Jill Howard of NAI Capital Commercial representing the seller. The buyer purchased the newly refurbished, two-story, freestanding building as an investment. The purchased building is one of three office buildings in the Warner Redhill Business Center and has major street frontage at the corner of Redhill and Warner, near the 5 and 55 freeways. Sam Parsa of Parsa and Associates represented the buyer. In addition to the sale of the building at 15901 Redhill Ave., the Howards have a 44,513-sf, two-story office building at 15991 Redhill Ave. in the Warner Redhill Business Center listed for sale.In the Fontana transaction, Columbian Properties purchased a 20,000-sf industrial building at 15808 Arrow Highway from Stewart Development LLC for $1.1 million. Dave Stolte and Dan Walsh of NAI Capital Commercial represented the buyer, with the seller represented by John Mulrooney of Lee & Associates. The buyer, who will be relocating from Rancho Cucamonga and will occupy approximately 8,000 sf of the two-story building for offices, plans to sublease the remainder, Stolte reports.
