LEWISVILLE, TX-First American Broadcasting Corp. has purchased 57 acres for $1 million in a 60-day start to-finish for the listing although another six months were spent securing municipal and FCC approvals.

Dan Spika with Henry S. Miller Commercial in Dallas listed the Lewisville land, south of Texas 121 and east of Huffines Road, and snared a taker at full price and cash on the line. “I listed it for $1 million and I got $1 million. I got very lucky,” he tells GlobeSt.com about the just-closed land sale. “I found out they were looking, took it to them and it worked out perfect for them.”

According to Spika, the Dallas-based First American Broadcasting will build four to six radio towers on the site, which abuts a municipal landfill. Ray Grimes of Lewisville was the seller.
