CENTURY CITY, CA-The law firm of Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner has signed a 10-year, $7 million lease that puts the technology and intellectual property law firm into the entire 22,000 sf of the 12th floor at 1880 Century Park East in a switch from the seventh floor, according to Julien J. Studley Inc. Vince Pellerito of Studley’s Downtown Los Angeles office, who represented Brown Raysman, says the law firm’s primary goals were to find a space that reflected its image at an economical cost and to sign a deal providing flexible expansion rights, eliminating the potential short-term need to relocate again. Besides Pellerito, Studley’s John Carrick and Andrew Lustgarten also represented the law firm. The building owner, Held Properties Inc., was represented in-house by Joel Delman.

In another office lease, Kintetsu International, one of the world’s largest Japanese-owned travel service organizations, signed a 10-year, nearly $3.6 million deal for 18,000 sf in the 12-story Pacific Pointe Tower in Gardena for consolidation of its U. S. headquarters, according to Michael Lee the Downtown Los Angeles office of GVA Daum. The new Kintetsu headquarters is at 879 W. 190th St. Lee represented the tenant, with the landlord, Younan Properties, represented by Bill Maher, Philip Mattice and Chris Sinfield of the South Bay office of Grubb & Ellis. The new office combines Kintetsu’s Downtown Los Angeles and Cerritos offices with the relocation to Gardena, where approximately workers will be employed.
