JERSEY CITY, NJ-Jordache Enterprises has leased a total of 157,623 sf of industrial space at 99 Caven Point Ave. here, GlobeSt.com has learned. Both the tenant and the sub-landlord in the transaction were represented by CB Richard Ellis. The apparel manufacturer plans to use the space for the warehousing and distribution of its products in the metro area.

The CBRE industrial team of first vice presidents Gary Capetta and William Waxman, senior associate Nick Nitti and associate Carrie Brown of the firm’s Saddle Brook office represented Jordache Enterprises. Senior vice president Jeff Babikian and Steve Pastor, vice president of global logistics, also of CBRE’s Saddle Brook office, represented the sub-landlord. Terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.

“Bowne Printing wanted a quality tenant, while Jordache was in search of a location that was convenient to both the Holland Tunnel and the Port of Newark/Elizabeth,” Waxman tells GlobeSt.com. “We are delighted to have satisfied both companies’ real estate requirements, while adhering to each of their business plans.”

“Jeff Babikian and I have represented Bowne’s divisions and subdivisions across the country, and on a local, national and worldwide basis,” says Pastor. The New York-based Bowne specializes in printing financial documents, including annual and interim reports and prospectuses, for both mailing and electronic distribution.

Jordache’s new location is part of a 16-country operation that makes more than 30 million garments a year. A family-owned company also based in New York, it markets its products under the Jordache, Gasoline, Fubu, Kikit and United States Polo Association brands. The company also produces private labels and has a licensing division comprised of 60 licensees.
