TETERBORO, NJ-A trio of brokers from Binswanger/Klatskin, based here, has arranged two industrial transactions, a building sale and a lease totaling 104,300 sf in Central New Jersey. The deals were arranged by executive vice presidents David Knee and Robert Kossar, and vice president Chris Hile.

In the larger of the two, QPS Die Cutters & Finishers has acquired the 62,000-sf industrial/light assembly building at 475 Bloy St. in Hillside, NJ for an undisclosed price. The seller was Suenest Realty Co., a local group. The buyer is moving its operations there from Hoboken, NJ.

“From this location, QPS will be able to retain a large portion of their labor force,” says Kossar. “That was an important factor to the company in searching for relocation space.

In the second transaction, Binswanger/Klatskin represented tenant Deacon Transportation Corp., a trucking/distribution company, in the lease of 42,300 sf at 51-53 Hook Rd. in Bayonne, NJ. Hartz Mountain Industries, Secaucus, NJ, owns the facility. “This distribution hub is a great location in close proximity to New York City and the ports of Newark and Elizabeth,” Hile adds.
