ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL-Astronics has paid $6 million for 955 Pratt Ave., a 139,547-sf warehouse with 10,000 sf of office space, after the electronics firm sold a much smaller building at 1510 Lunt Ave. for $1.45 million. The electronics firm had 25,020 sf at its previous location in the Centex Industrial Park, before buying larger quarters from CenterPoint Properties Trust.

The Oakbrook-based REIT paid $4.3 million for the Pratt Avenue building, which includes 6.3 acres, in late 2003. The most recent deal was financed by a $3.6-million mortgage from Foster Bank, according to property records.

NAI Hiffman senior associate Eric Tresslar and executive vice president Lawrence R. Much, SIOR handled negotiations Astronics in both of its deals. Ron Behm of Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler represented CenterPoint Properties Trust.

In an unrelated deal, Dynasty International Forwarding paid $75 per sf for a 10,000-sf building at 1601 Brummel Ave., relocating from 2301 Touhy Ave. Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR International vice president Theresa Gleason, CCIM, represented Gerali Custom Design, the sellers of the property, in negotiations with Lisa Buncic of Owen Wagener.
