ORLANDO-The Orlando and Tampa offices of Advantis Real Estate Services Co., a partner in GVA Worldwide, are having a solid production month, the company reports. Brokers in both offices have closed a total 114,640 sf in new leases, handled a $13.5-million office building sale and were selected to handle the 264,119-sf leasing and management portfolio of the Arthur E. Grindle family.

In Orlando, Bradco Supply Co., a national roofing materials distributor of Avenel, NJ, has leased 75,000 sf of industrial space at 2255 N. Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando’s Silver Star Road submarket. Duron Paints & Wallcoverings of Beltsville, MD is renewing its 12,000-sf lease with landlord FGHP Properties Ltd. Partnership at Triplex II located at 4669 L.B. McLeod Rd. in the 33rd Street Industrial Park.

In the Tampa Bay market, Suncoast II Tampa Bay School of Massage is occupying 11,658 sf at the Pan Am Building at 2005 Pan Am Circle Dr. in the Tampa International Airport area in west Tampa. Troy University signed a 5,484-sf office lease at Bridgeport Center, 5201 West Kennedy Blvd. In central Tampa. Further west in Pinellas County, West Marine Products Inc. is taking 9,982 sf of office space at Paradyne Building H in the Largo area.

In Sarasota, Advantis brokers handled the $13.5-million sale of the 130,189-sf, class B Ellis Office Building to Benderson Development Inc. of Sarasota. Benderson paid Tricony Florida Corp. of Palm Beach $103.70 per sf for the Downtown Sarasota property at Main Street and Orange Avenue.

Advantis has also added 264,119 sf to its leasing and management portfolio on a new contract with the Arthur E. Grindle family of Orlando. The nine-property portfolio include Citadel International III, a class A office building adjacent to Orlando International Airport; an industrial park in Sanford; several auto sales lots; and four retail strip shopping centers in Orange and Seminole counties.
