DENVER-G.A.Wright Marketing Inc. on June 16 will officially celebrate the opening of its 73,000-sf headquarters building at 10325 E. 47th Ave. in the Stapleton Business Center. The marketing company chose the site on the former international airport because of its proximity to downtown Denver and the Denver International Airport, as well as access to postal facilities necessary for its direct marketing business.

G.A. Wright provides high-tech services such as data analysis, market strategy development, creative development, advertising production, campaign execution, and program management.

Interergroup Architects of Littleton designed Wright’s new building. The tilt-up concrete structure will have angular lines that suggest the prow of a ship “We wanted the building to reflect Gary Wright’s unique marketing creativity,” says Ned White, CEO of Intergroup. “It makes a bold statement about the company.”

The gray colored building will have sloped blue-tinted glass window corners. The reception area focuses on a curved maple desk with stainless steel posts supporting a floating glass surface. Hallways from the reception area are glass-lined and lead into the production areas. Production management offices on the second floor have glass windows that look down into the production areas.

The project cost was $6.4 million, including $885,000 for the land, $1 million for new equipment, and the balance in construction costs. Financing came from industrial revenue bonds; Wells Fargo Public Finance served as the underwriter. G.A.Wright Marketing maintains a 20% equity positioning the building.
