ARLINGTON, VA-Canon USA Inc. has decided to stay put at Sequoia Plaza by signing on for five more years at the 369,400-sf office compound. The imaging-and-information systems company signed a lease renewal for its 60,500 sf on the third and fourth floors.

Situated at the intersection of Route 50 and Arlington Boulevard, Sequoia Plaza offers is close to Washington, DC, Reagan National Airport and the Pentagon. Canon counts as its neighbors at Sequoia Plaza the likes of Northrop Grumman and Maden Tech.

Robert Shue of Spaulding & Slye Colliers represented Canon in its lease agreement with property owner Washington Equities-Sequoia LLC, which was represented by USAA Realty Co. Financial terms of the transaction have not been revealed. However, class A office space in Arlington County goes for an average $33.17 per sf, according to the Cushman & Wakefield Marketbeat Snapshot for the first quarter of 2005.
