ST. PAUL-Frauenshuh Cos. says General Services Administration has recently signed an 85,000-sf lease at its 180 E. Fifth building. The lease gives momentum to leasing efforts at the historic Lowertown building that much closer to occupancy, says Sherry Hastings, lead broker for Frauenshuh.

The General Services Administration plans to move out of their space at the nearby Warren E. Berger Federal Building Tenants and Courthouse building while the space is being renovated.

The new tenants will occupy the entire seventh floor of 180 E. Fifth, as well as the remaining space on the sixth floor. GSA plans to move in this fall. The lease runs “several years,” according to Frauenshuh officials. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
