WESTWOOD, CA-The joint venture of SK Telecom and EarthLink that was formed in March to deliver wireless services has signed a lease for corporate headquarters space at Equity Office’s 10960 Wilshire Blvd. Terms of the deal were not reported, but industry sources believe SK-Earthlink has signed for 50,000 sf for five years. Asking rates at the building are about $33 per sf per month, gross.

The recently renovated 10960 Wilshire Blvd. building is a 24-story, 576,000-sf class A office tower that is approaching full occupancy after being 45% vacant three years ago. Bert Dezzutti, SVP of Equity Office’s Los Angeles Region, says the building is benefiting from growing office leasing momentum in the area as well as an aggressive marketing campaign.

The building’s leasing team includes Chris Houge and Rick Buckley of Madison Partners, along with David Hitzel, Equity Office’s in-house leasing director. SK EarthLink was represented by Matthew Miller of CRESA Partners.
