WALTHAM, MA-A furnished sublease with a one-year term was the perfect fit for a start-up high tech company that was looking to establish its headquarters in Boston. Everypoint, a provider of mobile Infotainment applications for cell phone users, signed on for 3,000 sf of space at 186 Lincoln St. The move gives the new company fully furnished office space near Boston’s South Station and a short-term lease that offers a set cap on rental expenses during its first year of operation.

“It was furnished space so they could get up and running very quickly,” Michael Taylor, with T3 Realty Advisors tells GlobeSt.com, adding that the location near South Station, which will allow its employees to easily commute to work, also was a factor in the firm’s leasing decision. Terms of the lease were not made public.

The company, backed by Prism Ventures and TD Capital Ventures, produces sports, news, mobile magazines, mapping and social networking services that incorporate real-time content, text, and graphics. The firm, which subleased the space from Tech Target, brought occupancy levels in the building to around 80 %, Taylor says.
