SECAUCUS, NJ-ZT Group International has signed a lease for more than 128,000 sf of industrial space at 350 Meadowland Parkway here. The 200,000-sf building is part of locally based Hartz Mountain Industries’ Harmon Cove industrial complex in the Meadowlands submarket.

The lease marks an expansion for ZT Group, an 11-year-old original equipment manufacturer of PCs, laptops and servers headed by president Frank Chang. The company’s existing headquarters is here, at 210 Meadowland Parkway, another Hartz property. The terms of the signing were not disclosed; the space had been listed on Hartz’s web site for a five-year- term with the rental rate “upon request.”

“There remains enormous energy in industrial leasing activity in this market,” says Hartz president and COO Emanuel Stern. “That demonstrates the appeal of the location and the strength of the market.”

“Industrial space is the mainstay of our portfolio, and the pre-eminent driver of the Meadowlands’ region’s economic life,” Stern says. “Harmon Cove has been fully developed for several years now, but is constantly being reinvented.”
