MIAMI-Leviev Boymelgreen has formed a partnership with Douglas Elliman Florida, a newly formed affiliate of New York City-based Douglas Elliman residential real estate brokerage firm. Under the agreement, Douglas Elliman Florida will market and sell all of Boymelgreen’s future Miami projects, including the Soleil condominium project already under way.

The brokerage firm recently opened an office in South Beach and plans to open more in Florida. Its deal with Boymelgreen becomes effective Sept. 18. Leviev Boymelgreen, led by Lev Leviev and Brooklyn-based Shaya Boymelgreen, is a partnership with Africa-Israel Investments, a global conglomerate. The firm entered the Miami market in 2004 with the acquisition of approximately 25 parcels previously owned by Hank Sopher, a locally based parking lot owner, and it has since acquired additional properties.

The developer has announced plans to create “a multibillion-dollar portfolio” of real estate in South Florida over the next five years. Units in Soleil, a 41-story, 288-unit condominium at 3050 Biscayne Blvd., are selling from the $300,000s to more than $1 million. Other projects in the planning stage include Vitri, a 66-unit, eight-story condo at Fifth Street and Alton Road, and Marquis, a 61-story, 310-unit condo and small hotel at 1100 Biscayne Blvd. with residential condo prices reaching to above $7 million.

Mark Armstrong, director of Leviev Boymelgreen’s Florida operations, calls “a marketing partner of…clout in the industry,” critical, and says Elliman “has the network to reach our target audience in domestic and international markets.” Jamie Goff heads Douglas Elliman Florida as president.
