CRANFORD, NJ-Trinitas Hospital has subleased 28,544 sf at 750 Walnut Ave. here and will utilize the space for offices. Built in 1967, 750 Walnut Ave. is a one-story, 442,000-sf flex building on 30 acres owned by Hartz Mountain Industries of Secaucus, NJ.

Terms of the sublease were not disclosed; available direct space in the building is listed on the website of CB Richard Ellis with an asking rent of $19.50 per sf. The sublessor, Bank of America, was represented by Matt McDonough and Tom Grenier, both senior vice presidents in Trammell Crow Co.’s Florham Park, NJ office. Trinitas Hospital was represented by Ian Grusd of ReMax Commercial.

The Elizabeth, NJ-based Trinitas Hospital was created in early 2000 by the consolidation of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and Elizabeth General Medical Center. Besides its main campus in Elizabeth, the institution has multiple existing locations here, as well as facilities in nearby Linden and in Newark.
