Construction To Begin on Furniture Row Center

DACONO, CO-Taylor Kohrs, a locally based general contractor, will build a 85,000-sf Furniture Row Shopping Center in the tiny town of Dacono. The center will include almost 60,000 sf of showroom space and 25,000 sf of warehouse space for the company’s lines of stores. They include Oak Express, Bedroom Expressions, Denver Mattress and Sofa Mart.

“Our company has a great deal of retail construction experience, and we’re very pleased to be working with Furniture Row on this ‘flagship’ store for the growing northern corridor of the Front Range,” says Scott Kohrs, a partner at Taylor Kohrs. “This will be a tremendous addition to the area, and help to accommodate the local housing boom.”

The center will be 20-miles north of Denver, situated in the southwest corner of Weld County. Preliminary phases of construction are underway. Since 1983, Taylor Kohrs has been building recreational, retail, corporate office, multifamily, educational, municipal, biotech, high-tech, site development and tenant finish projects in the Rocky Mountain region.
