ROSEVILLE, CA-Developer Donahue Schriber of Costa Mesa, CA added about 450,000 sf of retail to its portfolio in recent weeks with the acquisition of centers here and in Bakersfield, CA for a combined price of $125 million. Locally, the private mall REIT acquired the 127,000-sf Highland Crossing Shopping Center. In Bakersfield, it acquired the 300,000-sf Marketplace development.

Highland Crossing is a fully leased neighborhood center anchored by a Safeway and Longs Drugs. It was built in 2003. The sale price was $41.5 million. The seller was a private partnership.
