NORWALK, CT-GE Commercial Finance and Carlson Marketing Group have signed lease deals totaling 170,000 sf at Building and Land Technology’s recently completed 901 Main Ave. office building here. GE Commercial Finance will be shifting some operations from Stamford to 901 Main Ave, which totals 360,000 sf.

The company signed a lease for 87,000 sf and is expected to take occupancy of two floors at 901 Main Ave. by the end of the second quarter of 2006. The site, which was built on spec, is the third and final building that is part of Building and Land Technology’s “the Towers in Norwalk” office complex here.

Also signing a significant lease at the property is Carlson Marketing Group, which will be relocating from offices in Norwalk to 83,000 sf of space at 901 Main Ave. Diageo’s headquarters property is located at Building and Land Technology’s 290,0000-sf 801 Main Ave. building, which was completed in February of this year. Hewitt Associate’s regional headquarters is located at the first “Tower” building at 1001 Main Ave., a 250,000-sf building that was completed in 2001. Building and Land Technology officials say the company is in negotiations with other prospective tenants for space at 901 Main Ave. The 901 Main Ave. building, which was completed in August 2005, is now 47% leased.
