BELLMAWR, NJ-Leasing activity in the early days of November has already amounted to a total of more than 290,000 sf at Korman Commercial Properties’ Interstate Business Park here. In the largest of the multiple transactions, General Floor has expanded its presence in the park, moving from its existing 78,000 sf to 100,000 sf at 190 Benigno Blvd., according to Hayley Knopple, associate general manager for the park. The company is using the space for its headquarters, warehousing and distribution operations.

In other new leases, M. Parker Autoworks, a maker of wire harnesses for automobiles, has taken 5,000 sf of new space at 420 Benigno Blvd. to supplement the 14,385 sf it already leases elsewhere in the park. Other new commitments have come from American Home Lending; LodgeNet, a provider of services to the hospitality industry; AP Construction, which provides services to the New Jersey DOT; and the Delaware Valley Purchasing Group.

Among renewals just signed, Ginsey Industries has re-upped for its existing 74,000 sf at 281 Benigno Blvd. the company uses the space for the headquarters, manufacturing and distribution of its line of decorative home products. And publisher Harcourt Inc, located in the park since 1992, has renewed its lease for 40,000 sf at 61 Heller Rd. The company warehouses and distributes educational materials from the site.

Other renewals have been signed by Three Rams & A Lion, which operates a 16,000-sf sports training center at 300 Benigno Blvd., and Airgas East, a supplier of specialty gases, welding and related products, which occupies 10,000 sf at 270 Benigno Blvd. Still other renewals have been signed by Happy Impressions, a maker of novelty products; Transforce Inc., a training organization for motor freight drivers; and Andes River Marketing Co., a fruit distributor.

Located at Exit 3 of the New Jersey Turnpike in South Jersey, Korman’s Interstate Business Park occupies a total of 250 acres. Its 37 buildings contain a total of more than 2.5 million sf of office, distribution and warehouse space.
