BOSTON-A locally based web development firm has signed on for 7,757 sf of office space at 320 Congress St. The three-year lease gives the company a location between the Financial District and South Station in Boston’s Fort Point Channel area.

Verndale Corp., which provides Internet strategy, development and support services to emerging and midsize businesses, previously occupied space at 355 Congress St. Others on the tenant roster at its new home include Boston.com, the web portal for the Boston Globe.

“Fort Point Channel is an increasingly popular location for many top-tier companies,” says Jeffrey Becker, senior vice president of NAI Hunneman Commercial, who handled the transaction for Congress Plaza LLC, owner of the seven-story, 51,000-sf property. James Griffen, with GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey & Stevens, represented the tenant.
