ONTARIO, CA-Majestic Realty Co. has signed Ozburn-Hessey Logistics to a five-year lease for 260,000-sf of distribution space at the City of Industry-based developer and landlord’s Majestic Airport Center near Ontario International Airport. Ozburn-Hessey, a supply chain management company, is adding the space after the growing company expanded recently via acquisitions, according to Scott McWilliams, CEO of the logistics firm.

“Our clients’ supply chain needs change constantly,” McWilliams comments, explaining that Ozburn-Hessey sought the additional warehouse space to provide “flexibility to adapt” to the changing client needs. Ozburn-Hessey, which operates more than 21 million sf of warehouse space throughout the US, recently acquired Barthco International, Turbo and Freightek.

Based in Brentwood, TN, Majestic’s new tenant serves the food service, industrial, electronic and high tech, pharmaceutical and medical, health and beauty and consumer products industries. Among the services it provides are domestic and international transportation services, freight forwarding and customs brokerage.

Majestic Realty was represented internally by Trent Wylde in the lease with the logistics firm. Ozburn-Hessey was represented by Dan de la Paz of CB Richard Ellis in Ontario and ProVenture Commercial Real Estate of Brentwood, TN.

Majestic Airport Center comprises nine buildings totaling three million sf. The center is a 235-acre industrial park composed of three separate projects: Archibald Business Center, California Commerce Center IV and Hofer Ranch.

Located immediately south of the Ontario International Airport. the project is close to the Pomona (60), San Bernardino (10) and the I-15 freeways, with rail service by Union-Pacific Railroad. Majestic’s joint venture partner for the California Commerce Center IV and Hofer Ranch portions of the development is Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co.
