YORBA LINDA, CA-Nobel Biocare, a dental implant and aesthetic dentistry firm based in Zurich, has renewed the lease on its 122,000-sf North American headquarters and has added 10 years to the term, according to Studley. The company’s headquarters space is at 22715 and 22725 Savi Ranch Parkway.

The headquarters houses Nobel Biocare’s training and continuing education institute, where it provides training in the latest dental surgical techniques, explains Mark Sullivan, executive vice president and Southern California regional manager for Studley. Sullivan and Joshua Gorin, senior managing director of Studley’s Downtown Los Angeles office, represented Nobel Biocare USA Inc. in the 10-year extension.

The Nobel Biocare facility is considered one of the largest and most technologically advanced centers of its kind. It can accommodate up to 98 doctors at a time and also houses a staff of customer-support and technical support specialists, as well as a direct sales force and administration.

According to Studley’s Gorin, Nobel Biocare had “a strong desire to remain in its existing facility,” where leading clinicians demonstrate a variety of advanced procedures in dental surgical techniques. Gorin tells GlobeSt.com that the highly advanced demonstration facility features an auditorium where dentists and oral surgeons can view procedures performed by the clinicians.

The Yorba Linda facility is part of a Nobel Biocare worldwide operation in which the company employs approximately 2,000 workers. The company maintains headquarters in Zurich and in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Terms of Nobel Biocare’s new lease were undisclosed, but recent market reports list the asking rates for comparable space in Orange County as about $2.50 to $3 per sf per month. The building’s owner, the Shidler Group, was represented by Brigham Black in conjunction with Marc Jones of Los Angeles-based Arden Realty Inc., the previous owner of the property.
