Floorworks, a Toronto-based company specializing in engineered hardwood flooring for homes and offices, has begun buying timber from sustainable forest grower Futuro Forestal, a non-profit German-Panamanian company backed by Yale University. The company is planning to introduce floor coverings made from that wood in its FUSE collection, for commercial and residential use, this summer.
