WHITE PLAINS-The Third Annual RealShare Westchester County conference to be held on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at the Crowne Plaza White Plains Hotel here will provide insightful analysis of some of the pressing issues facing the commercial markets in Westchester today. It will include an in-depth look at the turbulent credit markets, the outlook for leasing and investment sales as well as a discussion on the multibillion-dollar redevelopment of the City of Yonkers.

The program, a presentation of Real Estate Media, drew hundreds of attendees last year and a big crowd is expected for this year’s event. “RealShare Westchester County will once again bring together the leading owners, investors, developers, brokerage professionals and lenders in the market for a morning event with robust content and high-level networking,” notes Richard Kelley, executive director of the RealShare Conference Series. “Ever since the credit crunch hit late summer we have seen a hunger for good information and a palpable need for networking from the industry, and with Jim Houlihan as our keynote speaker and a terrific lineup of speakers and panels, RealShare Westchester County will offer plenty of insight and information to go along with outstanding networking.”

Gregg Christensen, associate publisher of Real Estate Forum, a Real Estate Media publication, will provide welcoming remarks to be followed by James Houlihan of Houlihan-Parnes/iCap Realty Advisors LLC of White Plains who will give the keynote address on “Finding Clarity in the Capital Markets.”

A Town Hall Meeting will follow moderated by John Goodkind, managing principal of Newmark Knight Frank, which will delve into “The State of the Westchester County Market.” Panelists for that program include: Frank Kenny, CEO of the Willett Cos. LLC; Greg Rand, managing partner of Prudential Rand Realty; and Joseph Simone, president, Simone Development Co. LLC. Following the Town Hall Meeting, attendees will have the option of two sessions, one on the leasing and investment climate, and the other on the debt and equity side of the business. Cory Gubner, president and CEO of GVA Williams Connecticut, will moderate “The Prospects for Leasing, Investment & Development in the Westchester Office Market.” Panelists for that session will include: Bruce Berg, EVP, Cappelli Enterprises Inc.; Brian Carcaterra, director, Newmark Knight Frank; Joe Caruso, SVP, RexCorp Realty; and Jeff Warner, VP-leasing, Mack-Cali Realty Corp.

Emie DesRochers, SVP and managing director of NorthMarq Capital, will moderate the second session entitled “Getting Deals Done in the Debt & Equity Capital Markets.” Panelists include: Bush Bowden, SVP and co-regional manager, Goldman Sachs Commercial Mortgage Capital LP; Dan Hartman, senior director, Wrightwood Capital; Jim Korinek, managing director, NewStar Financial Inc.; and John Manginelli, regional manager, KeyBank Real Estate Capital.

Another set of panel discussions will follow. Jeff Dunne, vice chairman of CB Richard Ellis, will lead an informative presentation “Who’s Buying, Who’s Selling and Why in the Westchester Investment Sales Market.” Other participants in that program are: Mike Brady, eastern division operations VP, Asset Preservation Inc.; Andy Merin, vice chairman, Cushman & Wakefield; Steve Oder, NAI business director, NAI Friedland Realty Inc.; John Saraceno Jr., co-founder and managing principal, Onyx Equities LLC; and George Yerrall, managing director, Riveroak Investment Corp.

The second late morning session covers today’s hot topic in commercial real estate circles in Westchester County–”Reshaping Yonkers: The Outlook for Economic and Real Estate Development.” The program will be moderated by Michael Siegel, EVP of CB Richard Ellis. Panelists will be a group well-versed in Yonkers development: Joseph Apicella, SVP, Cappelli Enterprises Inc.; Arthur Collins, founder, Collins Enterprises LLC; Peter Klein, VP, Fidelco Realty Group; and Ellen Lynch, president and CEO of Yonkers Industrial Development Agency.
