ANAHEIM, CA-The six buildings of office, laboratory and classroom space at the 75,000-sf Crescent Corporate Center attracted multiple offers from a variety of bidders before ultimately selling for $15.7 million to a church that will use the center as a school and office, according to Lee & Associates. The buyer was Sa Rang Community Church, which will occupy the space as an adjunct to another nearby facility, according to Lee & Associates brokers on the deal.

Crescent Corporate Center’s six buildings, located at 1900 Crescent Ave., comprise five single-story brick structures and one of two stories. The five single-story structures are built out as classrooms, an administrative building that formerly was occupied by the Southern California Institute of Technology and an office/laboratory facility that is occupied by British Petroleum. The single-story building, occupied by Crescent Health Care, is a freestanding modern office facility.

According to president Jeff Rinkov and principal Peter Bacci of the Commerce office of Lee & Associates, the British Petroleum and Crescent Health Care leases will be expiring at the end of January. Rinkov and Bacci represented the sellers of the center, LIA Associates and 4900 Corona Associates LLC.

After receiving multiple offers for the property, “We selected the community church as the buyer because they were an end-user of real estate,” Rinkov says. He notes that the church will use the school and office facilities to support its main site located just across the I-5 Freeway. Sa Rang Community Church was represented in the deal by Min Oh and Mike Hsu of Tarbell Realtors.
