NEW YORK CITY-Locally based Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Paul Glickman to vice chairman. He was previously an EVP, and has been a commercial real estate professional for more than two decades.

According to C&W, the promotion signifies Glickman’s rise to the top, after consistently ranking as one of the firm’s top brokerage professionals globally, and among the top 25 producing brokers for the past seven consecutive years. Glickman co-leads a 20-member brokerage team at C&W. A company spokesperson tells GlobeSt.com that Glickman will not be replacing anyone and will still be on the brokerage side.

“Paul is the consummate real estate professional,” says C&W president and CEO Bruce Mosler. “He has consistently contributed to our firm’s success, and has become one of the most well-known names in commercial real estate. We congratulate him on this career milestone.”

According to C&W, Glickman has arranged many of Manhattan’s largest and most complex leasing transactions, and has negotiated on behalf of leading corporations throughout the US. He has advised well-known financial service corporations, law firms, publishing, technology and entertainment companies on their real estate strategies, including AXA /Equitable Life Assurance Society, Citigroup, MetLife, New York Life Insurance Company and the United Nations Development Corp. “His dedication and ability to consistently meet and exceed his client’s needs and expectations has led to the development of long-term relationships,” according to a C&W release on his promotion.

Glickman has also represented the largest and most prominent landlords in New York City in more than 14 million sf of building agencies, including Eastgate Realty, Equity Office Properties, GE Capital Investment Advisors, Kipp-Stawski Management Group, New York Life, SL Green Realty Corp., Trizec Properties and Vornado Realty Trust. Most recently, Glickman represented the Hakimian Organization in its 564,000-sf lease to Ogilvy & Mather at 636 11th Ave. He is a three-time recipient of Cushman & Wakefield’s “Strategic Agency Services Award” for the successful leasing of 360 Madison Ave., 505 Fifth Ave. and Grand Central Square.
