EDISON, NJ-Mack-Cali Realty Corp., based here, has signed a combination of lease expansions and renewals totaling 210,000 sf of office and flex at a half-dozen of the REIT’s buildings around New Jersey. For one, the Greater New York Mutual Insurance Co. division of GNY Insurance Cos. has renewed for 10 years the entire 40,000-sf office building at 377 Summerhill Rd. in East Brunswick, a building built-to-suit for the tenant in 1977.

Also, the accounting firm WithumSmith+Brown has renewed and expanded its space to a total of 33,432 sf at 5 Vaughn Dr. in Princeton. The lease, running through 2016, consists of a 27,197-sf renewal and 6,235-sf expansion. The 98,500-sf class A building is 100% leased. Aubrey Haines of Mercer Oak Realty represented the tenant, and Mack-Cali was represented in-house by senior director of leasing Jack Colasurdo.

At the 240,000-sf 98%-leased Mack-Cali Centre III in Paramus, Citigroup Global Markets has renewed 19,664 sf and expanded 3,118 sf for a total of 22,782 sf for 10 years and five months. Various Citigroup divisions now occupy a total of more than 49,000 sf at the property. Citigroup was represented by Ed DaCosta of CB Richard Ellis; Mack-Cali was represented in-house by VP of leasing Christopher DeLorenzo.

The law firm Orloff, Lowenbach, Stifelman & Siegel has renewed for 20,228 sf for five years at the 237,000-sf 101 Eisenhower Pkwy. in Roseland. David Stifelman of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant, and Richard Travaglini represented Mack-Cali in-house. And Medical Doctors & Designers USA, represented by Barbara Gross of Sheldon Gross Realty, renewed and expanded to a total of 20,150 sf at 100 Walnut Ave., a 182,555-sf class A building in Clark. Toni Casiano represented Mack-Cali in-house.

Two of the deals came at buildings within the Moorestown West Corporate Center. At 31 Twosome Dr., a 100%-leased, 84,200-sf office/flex building, Cort Business Services, a Berkshire Hathaway company that provides rental furniture and services, has renewed for 46,880 sf for five years.

And at 915 North Lenola Rd., a 100%-leased, 52,500-sf office/flex building, the Tropicana Products unit of Pepsico has renewed for 19,525 sf and expanded by 7,055 sf, for a total of 26,580 sf. Harry Thomes and Dan McGillicuddy of the Staubach Co. represented Tropicana, and Mack-Cali was represented in-house by leasing director Tim O’Brien in both Moorestown signings.
