ATLANTA-Two leases with a total of 75,000 sf have been signed at Perimeter Summit, a mixed-use development in the city’s Central Perimeter submarket.

Eastman Kodak renewed a 50,000-sf lease for five years for space within 3003 Summit Blvd., which is now 94% occupied. The company has occupied the building for the past six years. CB Richard Ellis brokers Kerry Davidsen and Leigh Martin represented Eastman Kodak. John Heagy and Vikram Mehra, of Hines, represented the landlord.

Accounting firm the Reznick Group expanded its space within 2002 Summit Blvd. by 25,000 sf for four years. The company now occupies 90,000 sf on four floors within the building, which is 60% occupied. Jimmy Sanders and Mitch Kahlert, of ICON Commercial, represented Reznick. Heagy and Mehra represented Perimeter Summit.

“Our employees are excited about staying and the expansion will allow for our continued growth over the long term,” says Tim Kemper, of Reznick. “It’s the perfect environment for our employees and for client interface.”

Perimeter Summit is owned by an affiliate of the General Electric Pension Trust, which is advised by GE Asset Management. The property is managed by Hines. Perimeter Summit consists of three class A office towers at 1001, 2002 and 3003 Summit Blvd.; a 321-unit condominium and the Villa Christina dining and conference facility. The property is located on 83 acres between Ashford Dunwoody Road and Peachtree Dunwoody Road and has direct access to Interstate 285 and GA 400.

“The market did very well in 2007 and we’ve always captured our fair share of the activity,” Mehra tells GlobeSt.com. “The tenants attracted to Perimeter Summit tend to be large corporations that sign long-term leases.”

Mehra adds that Hines anticipates signing other leases at Perimeter Summit within the next 30 days.
