NEW YORK CITY-GlobeSt.com has learned that SAS Institute Inc. has renewed its lease for five years on the 47th floor of 787 Seventh Ave. Sources tell GlobeSt.com that asking rents at Equitable Life Assurance Society of the US’ property are in excess of $100 per sf.

CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord in the transaction. Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. CBRE did not return GlobeSt.com queries by deadline. An anonymous industry source confirms to GlobeSt.com that Paul Glickman of C&W brokered the deal for the tenant, but C&W did not respond to queries by deadline.

According to MrOfficeSpace.com, other office tenants at the nearly 1.8-million-sf, 50-story property include Wilke, Farr & Hallagher, Sidley Austin Brown & Wood, BNP Paribas, Citibank and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. Retail tenants include Bar American, Athletic & Swim Club, Cade Europa, Le Bernadin, Piano Due, Starbucks, and Washington Mutual.
