WASHINGTON, DC-The Building Owners and Managers Association International has elected six new executive committee members. These industry executives, which were elected during the BOMA International Conference and the Office Building Show, held June 22-24 in Denver, round out the association’s other recent top leadership appointments: Richard Purtell, as chair and chief elected officer and James Peck as chair elect.

The new executive committee members will be replacing members whose terms have expired, a spokeswoman for BOMA tells GlobeSt.com. “They will be helping BOMA continue to craft its strategic directions and initiatives,” she says. For the last few years these have primarily focused on environmental issues, such as BOMA’s Seven-Point Challenge.

The six are Daniel Chancey, general manager of Grubb & Ellis Management Services in Memphis; Don Erb, director of residential facilities at the State University of New York at Buffalo; Murray Greene, principal of the Greene Commercial Real Estate Group in Miami-Dade County, FL; Gordon Hester, director of commercial management at Kiemle & Hagood Co., in Spokane, WA; Joseph Markling, senior vice president at Lowe Enterprises Investors in Los Angeles; and Catherine Pullen, corporate managing director in Studley’s Philadelphia.office.

Purtell–BOMA’s public face for the next year–is portfolio manager of Grubb and Ellis Management Services. He joined Triple Net Properties in the fall of 2006. Chair-elect Peck is senior director in CB Richard Ellis’ Albuquerque office.
