REDWOOD CITY, CA-GVA Kidder Mathews recently expanded its new Redwood City office with three new brokers. Mark Melbye, Joe Cammarata, and Amy Sims take the office from six brokers to nine, giving the Seatle-based independent West Coast commercial real estate firm 25 brokers in the Bay Area.
Melbye, an industrial specialist, has 21 years in the commercial real estate business. Prior to joining the GVAKM as an senior vice president, he owned Commercial Real Estate Group. Prior to that, he was a partner with NAI BT where he was a top producer.
Cammarata will be a vice president specializing in industrial leasing. Cammarata comes from Coldwell Banker Commercial where he was a listed among the top producing agents for the last four years. Sims, who comes to GVA Kidder Mathews after a owning and operating a mortgage company, Home Loan Consultants of Dana Point, CA, will specialize in office properties in the firm’s brokerage division.
GVA Kidder Mathews is one of the largest independently owned commercial real estate firms on the West Coast, with 162 brokers in 8 offices in Washington, Oregon, and California handling $2.5 billion in transactions annually. GVAKM plans to open 10 offices in Northern California. In the last 18 months GVA Kidder Mathews has opened offices in San Francisco and Redwood Shores, and has added 25 agents to its roster.
