EDISON, NJ-Mack-Cali Realty Corp., based here, has chalked up new and renewal/expansion lease transactions totaling 203,763 sf at several of its Northern and Central New Jersey properties. In the largest of the deals, Savvis Communications Corp., a provider of hosting and application services, renewed its lease for 71,474 sf for five years at Harborside Financial Center Plaza 3 in Jersey City, a 725,600-sf class A office building that is 99.2% leased. Savvis was represented by John Brady, Dennis Gralla and James J. Scancarella of CresaPartners, and Mack-Cali was represented in-house by Thomas Savoca, senior director of leasing.

Also, Registrar and Transfer Co., a provider of stock transfer services, leased 41,150 sf at 10-12 Commerce Dr. in Cranford, consisting of a five-year, 26,315-sf renewal and a seven-year, 14,835-sf expansion. The 72,260 sf office building is 95% leased. The tenant was represented by Jon Marks of Cushman & Wakefield, and Mack-Cali was represented in-house by Toni Casiano, senior director of leasing.

Morgan Stanley, meanwhile, leased 27,289 sf at 150 JFK Pkwy. in Short Hills, consisting of a 23,343-sf renewal for five years and three months and a 3,946-sf expansion for seven years and four months. The 247,476-sf class A office building is 100% leased. Morgan Stanley was represented by CresaPartners’ Scancarella, and Mack-Cali was represented in-house by Richard Travaglini, director of leasing.

Toyota Motor Credit, the US financing arm of Toyota Financial Services, renewed for 22,236 sf for five years at 4 Gatehall Dr. in Parsippany, a 248,480-sf, 96%-leased office building within Mack-Cali Business Campus. The tenant was represented by David Warren of Resource Realty and Mack-Cali was represented in-house by Diane Chayes, vice president of leasing.

Insurance and risk management firm Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Co. signed a new five-year lease for 21,760 sf at 14 Commerce Dr. in Cranford, a 67,189-sf office building that’s 75.9% leased. Jay Dowlen and Matt Saker of CB Richard Ellis represented the tenant and Casiano again represented Mack-Cali.

Finally, Atlantic Inertial Systems, a provider of products and systems for aircraft, weapons and land systems applications, renewed its 19,854-sf lease for six years at 20 Commerce Way in Totowa, a 42,540-st, 100%-leased office/flex building within Mack-Cali Commercenter. Mack-Cali was represented in-house by Richard Eyre, leasing associate. Terms of the various signings were not released.
