SAVANNAH, GA-Locally based Neely Dales LLC has moved to expand its services by becoming part of the Colliers International organization and will now be known as Colliers Neely Dales. With the new affiliation the commercial brokerage plans to build on its contacts, resources, access to best practices and technology, “all in support of serving our clients better and expanding the services we provide,” says Colliers Neely Dales principal David Sink. John Neely and Cliff Dales are also principals in the firm. In addition, the Atlanta office of Colliers Spectrum Cauble has acquired a minority stake in the company.

“We’ve done a lot of business with colliers offices all over the country, but especially the Atlanta office, including jointly marketing some larger industrial buildings and jointly representing tenants and buyers,” Sink tells GlobeSt.com. He says the Atlanta office has established a group that focuses specifically on ports, so working with the Savannah brokerage was a natural extension of their business. It was also natural for Neely Dales to align itself with an international group as their market has grown over the past decade, he says.

“Our investment in Colliers Neely Dales is a critical element of our business development in the Southeast region,” Bob Mathews, president and CEO of Colliers Spectrum Cauble, stated in a release. “Import and export activity has been slow in the recent months, but long term we think Savannah will afford us numerous growth opportunities.”

Neely Dales’ latest transaction was a 150,000-square-foot industrial lease in September at AMB Morgan Business Center, near the Port of Savannah in Bloomingdale, to Foxboro, MA-based Dorel Juvenile Group Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of children’s products. The company also recently brokered an 81,000-square-foot, 10-year lease for environmental solutions tenant Dirtt within IDI’s Crossroads Business Center. Sink adds that the firm is currently working with a company seeking a 250,000- to 300,000-square-foot retail import distribution center in either Savannah or Charleston, SC.

Neely Dales has sold and leased more than $130 million of commercial real estate in the past two years and currently manages over 196,900 square feet of office. The company is also marketing approximately 2.3 million square feet of industrial, 93,000 square feet of office, 124,000-square-feet of retail and 450 acres of land. Colliers International has a total of 11,000 employees around the world, manages 868 million square feet with revenue of $2 billion.
