MESA, AZ-Though the Phoenix metro area has been extraordinarily hard-hit by economic times, there are a few bright spots when it comes to real estate. One of these is the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway area which, despite everything else, is going strong.

Situated on Mesa’s southeast side, the 20,700-acre Gateway area boasts a 3,200-acre airport, which according to Brent Moser, is the driving focus of growth. “The airport is still adding jobs, despite a difficult aeronautic environment,” says Moser, senior vice president with Grubb & Ellis
