NEW YORK CITY-Ian Levine’s Boutique property management firm, Spandrel Property Services–a unit of development and management firm the Spandrel Group–formed a strategic alliance with Stribling and Associates. According to a release, Stribling & Associates, along with Stribling Marketing Associates, will assist Spandrel in creating property management opportunities at multi-family residential developments across New York City. Meanwhile, Levine will train Stribling’s sales agents on how to deal with the property management issues that often arise among residential property owners.

Levine tells GlobeSt.com that he believes the new alliance is a natural fit that provides Spandrel with a direct link to the high-end residential marketplace through Stribling’s network of brokers and development clients. He adds that Stribling gains new capability to refer to a highly effective and an “ethical property management company to developer clients, which is invaluable in this market.”

He continues, “We targeted Stribling for our first strategic partnership based on our shared business values.” Adding that “we are currently in talks with other like-minded companies in the hopes of launching similar partnerships that will ensure that our commitment to build our business through multiple avenues and business types is met.”

Levine is chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Spandrel’s umbrella firm, the Tribeca based RAL Companies and Affiliates. According to the release, Levine’s been making efforts to gain a greater percentage of the property management market share with third party developers. Among Spandrel’s two million square feet of management assets are the New Yorker at 1474 Third Ave. in Manhattan, as well as 108 Joralemon and One Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn.

“Stribling is pleased to enter into this unprecedented alliance with Spandrel Property Services, which better assists the multi-family residential market by offering an array of top-notch service through its network affiliates as well as informed oversight based on the development and management of its own properties,” says Elizabeth F. Stribling, founder and president of that company.
