Farb (right) speaks with Incisive Media’s Salustri about private equity capital.

LOS ANGELES-Plentiful capital to fund commercial real estate isn’t an option nowadays, but that doesn’t mean there are no financing choices out there. Private equity will soon chase many of the distressed assets on the market, Scott Farb, a managing principal at the Bethesda, MD-based Reznick Group told John Salustri, editorial director of Incisive Media’s real estate group, at RealShare Real Estate 2009.

“You’re going to start to see a lot of capital being raised where you’re going to see opportunities to acquire distressed assets and debt on both the commercial and residential side,” Farb told GlobeSt.TV.
