NEW YORK CITY-CB Richard Ellis on Monday announced the promotions of three tenant representative brokers to SVP in the company’s Manhattan office. William Iacovelli, Jeff Kilimnick and Brad Needleman have represented a variety of clients in both leasing and space disposition assignments during their respective tenures at CBRE.

Iacovelli started at CBRE in 1999 and through his career in New York has specialized in commercial office leasing. Based in Manhattan, he has represented national and local tenants in more than 800,000 square feet of deals in Manhattan and more than 300,000 square feet of office and industrial transactions nationally, according to a release from CBRE.

Since 2004, Iacovelli has arranged more than 300,000 square feet of deals for Allianz Global Investors in Manhattan. Among his other notable clients are Oppenheimer, InterActiveCorp, Reserve Bank of Australia and Regus Business Centers. He was promoted to first VP in April 2006.

Kilimnick provides real estate advisory services to both public and private-sector clients, according to a release. He has been involved in negotiating and structuring a variety of transactions for his long-term clients on a regional, national and global basis. He has negotiated lease transactions on behalf of tenants that include Palladium Equity Partners, Crystal Clear Industries, PAETEC Communications and Interglobo Morro, among others.

Over the past two years, Kilimnick has arranged Manhattan leases that include American Eagle’s 56,000-square-foot deal at 417 Fifth Ave.; Springs Global’s 32,000-square-foot relocation to 110 Fifth Ave.; and Lafayette 148′s 48,000-square-foot renewal and expansion at 148 Lafayette St. He also represents IPC Systems in their global real estate requirements.

In a release, Matthew Van Buren, executive managing director at CBRE, says Needleman “has created his own niche practice in the highly competitive world of financial services real estate. He has surpassed expectations since being named CBRE’s inaugural ‘Rookie of the Year’ in 2004.”

Among Needleman’s notable achievements is a three-year global assignment with Scientific Games Corp. for its two-million-square-foot portfolio. Other deals of note include an 80,000-square-foot lease for HSH Nordbank at 230 Park Ave.; a 53,000-square-foot expansion and extension lease for New Jersey’s largest law firm, McCarter & English, at 245 Park Ave.; the leasing of 271,000 square feet at 787 Seventh Ave. and the disposition of 268,000 square feet at 1740 Broadway, both on behalf of AXA Financial; and the disposition of 200,000 square feet for Reed Elsevier at 360 Park Ave. South.

Some of Needleman’s most substantial 2008 transactions included Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management’s 31,000-square-foot relocation to Park Avenue Plaza, Claren Road Asset Management’s 18,000-square-foot expansion at 900 Third Ave. and Inscap Management’s 22,000-square-foot renewal at 230 Park Ave. Last month, CBRE spotlighted Mary Ann Tighe, CEO of the New York tristate region, as the company’s top-producing sales professional for ’08. She completed 5.6 million square feet of sales and leasing transactions last year, including Ogilvy New York’s 565,000-square-foot lease at 636 Eleventh Ave.
