Grala and Hersh (right)

NEW YORK CITY-The commercial real estate market is going to have a tough time dealing with the maturities of securitized mortgages coming due over the next few years, stresses Mitchell Hersh, president and chief executive officer of Edison, NJ-based Mack-Cali Realty Corp. “Clearly we’re going through a massive deleveraging throughout the global economy,” he said.

Hersh spoke to New Jersey Region associate editor Alyson Grala of Incisive Media’s real estate group as part of the GlobeSt.TV Leaders Series. He also gave his viewpoints on how the New Jersey Market is holding up.
