NEW YORK CITY-Small deals are the only deals getting done in today’s market. That’s what, Johnathan Hipp, president and chief executive officer of Reston, VA-based Calkain Cos., contended in a conversation at Incisive Media’s RealShare Net Lease conference.

“With the lack of financing out there, it’s tough to finance deals that are over $10 million,” he said, speaking with Incisive editorial director John Salustri. A lot of companies are even looking at transactions less than $5 million and paying all cash, he said.
