PARSIPPANY, NJ-Locally based NAI James E. Hanson has been named the exclusive leasing agent for a single-story, 18,100-square-foot industrial warehouse located at 184 Essex St. in Hackensack. NAI Hanson senior vice president Andrew Somple, SIOR, will be spearheading the leasing efforts on behalf of the property’s owner, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.

“This property presents an opportunity for any industrial user or owner that is looking for space in the Central Bergen County/Teaneck industrial market due to its convenient location,” Somple tells GlobeSt.com. The warehouse is available as a short-term property, permitting outside storage, with rental rates running around $5.

This comes on the heels of NAI’s appointment as the exclusive sales agent for a 1.3-acre vacant lot located at 131 Rochelle Ave. in Rochelle Park, which is available for development. Dominic M. Fittizzi, an associate vice president with NAI Hanson, will be responsible for the sale of this retail and professionally zoned lot on behalf of owner.

“Zoning is already in place for retail or professional use, and the site comes equipped with water and utilities,” Fittizzi says. There is also an opportunity for sign revenue on the property.

The firm was also recently tapped to market three newly constructed residential apartment units, which total approximately 6,500 square feet and are located at 263-265 Main St. in Chester. The project recently won the 2009 Green Building Award from the National Association of Home Builders. NAI Hanson’s Sig Schorr, vice president, is spearheading the marketing efforts of this listing on behalf of the owner.

Constructed by Asdal Builders LLC, the units available include two 1,915-square-foot, two-bedroom apartments and a 2,629-square-foot, three-bedroom apartment, both of which contain a 439-square-foot basement and a 329-square-foot storage facility.

Additional amenities include geothermal heating units, solar powered ceiling fans, finished basements, an attic, central air-conditioning and heating and all Energy Star household appliances.
