TRENTON-In addition to the passage of the economic stimulus bill late last week, the Legislature also approved a bill that would allow some 55-and-up communities to open their doors to buyers of all ages, reports NorthJersey.com.

Under the bill, age-restricted communities that have been approved but do not yet have any buyers could seek to have it opened to all ages, if they agree to set aside 20% of the units as affordable and if local planning boards approve.
