TOKYO-Third party logistics provider, Ajinomoto Logistics Corp. has signed two leases here in Japan taking 156,000 square feet in two buildings. The company signed on to occupy distribution space in two ProLogis facilities.

Ajinomoto will occupy 67,000 square feet at ProLogis Parc Osaka II. The distribution facility is an eight-story, 1.4-million-square-foot building.

The company has also taken 89,000 square feet at ProLogis Parc Iwanuma I. The facility was recently completed in October of 2008, and totals 436,000 square feet. The property sits one mile from the Sendai Airport and 11 miles from the Sendai Part.

These leases are the first the company has agreed to with ProLogis.

Ajinomoto Logistics is a subsidiary of Ajinomoto Co. Inc., a global developer and distributor of food and beverage products.
