BATAVIA, IL-Vanco International LLC has renewed its lease for 44,000 square feet at Batavia Industrial Center II. The electronic accessory provider is located in the 178,000-square-foot 506 Kingsland Dr. Michael Marconi of Epic Realty Partners represented Vanco International in the deal, while building owner Liberty Property Trust was represented in-house.

“During the last few months we have observed an uptick in interest in industrial properties in this market,” Don Schoenheider, VP and city manager of Liberty Property Trust, says. “While conditions remain challenging, we are cautiously optimistic as we head into the fall.”

Built in 1999, Batavia Industrial Center II is currently 100% leased. The seven-acre property offers 30-foot clear ceilings, one drive-in bay, 40 parking spaces, ESFR sprinkler systems and four exterior docks. It is located in the Fox Valley submarket, where overall occupancy is around 88% and asking lease rates average near $4 per square foot, according to Grubb & Ellis’ mid-year industrial market report.
