ATLANTA-Duke Realty Corp. says it has leased more than 74,000 square feet at Brookside Office Park, in the North Fulton submarket, in two separate deals. Oakland, CA-based Clorox Co. has signed a 54,238-square-foot renewal and expansion at Brookside II, adding 15,000 square feet to its original lease, while Denver-based Qwest Communications International Inc. renewed its lease of 20,197 at Brookside I.

The Clorox transaction brings the 133,442-square-foot, class A Brookside II to 96% leased near Georgia 400 and Old Milton Parkway. Wes Hardy, senior leasing representative with Duke, represented the building while CresaPartners brokers Brad Metzger of Chicago and Tom Tindall of Atlanta represented the tenant.

At Brookside I, Qwest will remain the building’s biggest tenant. Harrison Morris of Grubb & Ellis represented the tenant while Hardy negotiated on behalf of the building owner.

“The long-term commitments that both companies made to Brookside validate the park and the stability of Duke’s ownership structure,” says Chris Brown, senior vice president with the Indianapolis, IN-based REIT. Terms of both transactions were not disclosed.
