SAN FRANCISCO-Cornish & Carey Commercial/Oncor International and Grubb & Ellis each added to their ranks in the Bay Area in recent days and weeks, with C&C adding Allison Gorelick, a LEED AP-certified and Chartered Financial Analyst and Grubb & Ellis Co. adding office and retail broker Matthew Brasler and a few others.

Gorelick, now a VP with the San Francisco office of C&C, comes to the company from Sares-Regis Group, where she was a project manager. She also founded the private real estate company’s acquisitions team in 2006. During her career Gorelick has overseen every aspect of the development cycle–from property acquisition and entitlements to construction, leasing and disposition. “My time will now be focused on evaluating assets, understanding the needs of potential buyers and sellers and negotiating deals,” she said. Prior to Sares-Regis, Gorelick was VP of business development with Stonepath Group, a publicly traded venture capital company funding early stage tech start-ups.

Barzegar, now a senior associate in G&E’s San Francisco office, comes to the firm from TRI Commercial, where he served as an investment and senior office leasing specialist beginning in 2007. Prior to that, he was a VP with the commercial real estate services firm Axiant Group.
