WASHINGTON, DC-GSA Commissioner of Public Buildings Robert Peck has been honored by the District of Columbia Building Industry Association for his contributions to the city’s economic growth and quality of life and development. The award is bestowed on both public and private sector development, real estate and construction professionals in recognition of their achievements.

As commissioner, Peck oversees GSA’s portfolio of 362 million square feet of space in 9,624 assets across all 50 states, six US territories and the District. “He’s leading the federal effort toward responsible real estate development, creating livable federal communities and playing a major role in the agency’s move to a zero environmental footprint by advancing green building innovation,” says GSA Administrator Martha Johnson.
