The project’s development agreement must still be approved by the San Francisco board of supervisors and signed by the mayor, a process which could be complete as early as October of this year.
Due for completion in 2021, the property will include two 12-story buildings connected by a concrete corridor that will house 109 condominium units above a ground-floor lobby and 5,010 square feet of retail.
The two states created the Gateway Development Commission as a bi-state body to facilitate building the new Hudson Tunnel project.
