NEW YORK CITY-Cantor Fitzgerald, a New York-based firm, and CIM Group, a Los Angeles-based real-estate fund manager, have formed a joint venture to make nearly $5 billion in loans for commercial properties. These commercial-property loans will then be sold off as bonds. Since experiencing a fall of over 40% in 2007, commercial property values have begun to stabilize as of late.
