SAN DIEGO-Isis Pharmaceuticals Inc., the leader in antisense technology, has purchased Lot 14 in Carlsbad Oaks North and is now progressing on the construction of a research facility which measures 176,000 square feet.

After completion of the research facility, Isis Pharmaceuticals will lease the building for 20 years from BioMed Realty Trust. Don Mitchell, Glenn Friedrich, Rich Porreco and Russ Sande of CresaPartners San Diego represented Isis in the land acquisition and lease transaction.
