Andrew Meieran Buys Clinton's Restaurants

LOS ANGELES-Andrew Meieran, the owner of downtown L.A.'s popular Edison bar, has bought Clinton's family-run restaurant company, Restaurants Inc., and also inked a 10-year lease with Clinton Investments LLC, which possesses the five-floor building that contains the restaurant.

LOS ANGELES-Andrew Meieran, the owner of downtown L.A.’s popular Edison bar, has bought Clinton’s family-run restaurant company, Restaurants Inc., and also inked a 10-year lease with Clinton Investments LLC, which possesses the five-floor building that contains the restaurant.

Meieran has plans to redevelop Clifton’s Brookdale cafeteria, located at 648 S. Broadway, and add two bars and a restaurant and upgrade the bakery. The seller represented itself in the deal while New Downtown Brokerage’s Ed Rosenthal represented Meieran. For the full story, go to Los Angeles Business Journal.
